Who takes the top spot in your LP collection in terms of albums owned by them?

Looking through my collection, I'm surprised to see now that it is a 4-way tie at this point:

    Byrds / 9x
    Bowie / 9x
    King Crimson / 9x
    Pink Floyd / 9x

    followed by

    Neil Young / 8x

    &

    Radiohead / 7x

I suspect Bowie. Never counted them though. Next would be probably the Stones. Due to their enormous catalogue.

Led Zeppelin 37 albums with box sets only counted as a singular unit.
96 records if you split the mult-record sets.

George Jones, Merle Haggard and Mickey Gilley (cheap box of MG LPs on eBay, 26 IIRC!).

Oh yeah forgot Jerry Lee Lewis, the Charly box of his Sun sessions and 3 Bear Family LP boxes and Star Club LP - 46 in total I think.

Great question! I was curious and pulled up a recent excel file of my collection, sorted by artist and format. Sticking to 12" LPs I counted:

    30 Black Sabbath
    24 Pink Floyd
    24 Hawkwind
    21 Judas Priest
    16 AC/DC

On a side note, 'Various' blows them all away! ;)

Pink Floyd and the Black Keys, five each (although Brothers is a double-LP, so I technically have six Keys discs). I only have about 30 records though. I intend on getting every Waterboys album released on LP, though (all the recent ones being doubles). I have three now, intend on getting seven more - two of those doubles and one a triple, 10 more records total. In addition to 12" maxi singles and the like.

Which one of the Radiohead LPs do like the best? The sound quality not the actual tunes
