I'm chill just pointing out your ridiculous reaching over Merle. It was starting to get embarrassing. Please carry on not enjoying the show.

 

as stupid as the premier was, i tried watching the second episode and i honest-to-god had no idea what was going on.

now i've watched this show since the beginning, much to my chagrin, and while it's been pretty silly to unbelievably dumb, this episode marked the point where i simply turned it off. no one is even writing anymore. it just feels random scenes of ridiculous gunfire and bizarre soliloquies edited together by film students that must have been farmed from a contracting agency.

 

A character named Jesus turns out to be a pacifist. Who'da thunk it.

 

Dear Lord.

 

I like this all-action beginning to the season. Considering all the griping about slow paced past seasons I would have expected more love for these episodes.

the writers may be smoking too much the funny stuff and decide they want to get LOST...I find the flash back/forwards quite annoying and boring...

 

it seems many ppl got pissed off when they neglected to kill Negan when they had him in their sights...but, he had to live...IMO.

 

I'm hoping but even if it sucks we will stick with it...my wife won't quit so I'll watch it with her no matter what...

 

If he has to live a bit longer then fine, don't put him in a position where it makes too much sense to kill him....and not do it. Piss poor writing.

 

I agree...my wife was bitching about the non Negan kill as well...: ) It didn't bother me as I expect such.

please no...I don't think I could stand another season of Daryl's hair or the main cast other than Rick, Carol and Negan.

 

We have to consider the source material.

They can keep telling themselves that. But it won't happen if they keep churning out crap like the last two episodes.

 

Well, it's really a question of when AMC can deliver a series with better ratings or margins. What would that be?
