I really liked the last 2 episodes. It gets better and better as the season moves on.

However... if they don't give us Sammi's wedding this season I am going to be pretty, pretty, pretty disappointed!

The most recent episode was the best of the season, and most classic Curb-like.

I just watched this Show for the very first time.
I know "Who" larry David is, but never saw an episode.

I saw the one about the Accidental Text Message on purpose.
Was mostly very good,!! Is any particular season the best?

IMO, if you want to get a quick Larry David hit watch the Seinfeld episode at the end of Season 7 (I think) of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's all there.

Season 3 in my opinion is the peak of his powers.

I have never had HBO before this year and happened to catch an episode of the new season of Curb. My SO and I were almost rolling on the floor laughing. I'm a big Seinfeld fan, so I guess it's surprising I never delved into Curb.

After finding ourselves really enjoying the new season, we tried watching episodes from early seasons on HBO On Demand, but found it hard to get used to the low video quality and early shaky-cam. Visually, I think similar shows like Arrested Development have aged better, as far as watchability goes. Not sure what was going on with the visual choices in those first few seasons. Where did the visual quality get, erm, more acceptable?

In my opinion, the storylines in this current season lack the usual Larry David spark
of genius that we have grown accustomed to.

Richard Lewis and Bob Einstein are getting funnier to me with each new episode.

Not sure if you are kidding or not. If you watched the episode it was pretty obvious who that guy was.

Watch it. We really can't explain as it would be taking away the punch line.

Hint: He's one of Larry's neighbors.

He's the guy who messed with Larry's car.

I know, but did he appear before? I don't remember him.

No, I don't think he appeared before. You (the audience) were just supposed to make the connection based on the things he said. He wasn't shown on screen prior to the car wash.

So I’m a bit mystified. Did I miss something? Usually the show ends with something clever. We just saw the neighbor who was writing on LD’s car. What’s the joke? It’s not like we know the guy from somewhere. Like I said, maybe I’m missing something.

It wasn't a joke per se, it was just closure to the question of who the graffiti artist was. Well, there was a slight joke in how they were admiring the workings of a car wash and in casual conversation the guy utters the words 'wash me, wash me', leading to the reveal.

Right. So not much there. Usually the show has a clever twist at the end which I’ve come to expect but not this time. No big deal, thoroughly enjoyed the episode.

I don't see the big "miss" here...the ending was pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty clear to me. What wasn't obvious was why Larry finally chose to get the car cleaned. But once he started talking to the other guy, I suspected he was the one who started the graffiti war. Then when he said he was Larry's neighbor from "3 houses down"...well, how much more obvious does it need to be?

The ending was quite clear...it just wasn't funny at all. That's why I like the last line of the previous episode when Leon says to Larry, "Thank you for your service"...that was hilarious.

I have to agree, ... for now. Maybe he'll be back in future episodes. Then it will make more sense.
