Go to Postimage.org and click on choose images. That should bring you to where ever you have pictures stored on your computer. Double click on the image you want to post. When you get to "Upload completed!" click the icon next to "Direct link". X out of the dialog box then copy the link in "Direct link". Then you can paste your link in "Image URL" in your post. Should work pretty well.
Thanks. I'm going to see if MATT0404 can explain, as he was able to grab the Flickr link from the source of my post?!? Don't know why it just displays
You did a beautiful job on recording this video, very nice indeed. I'm I right in assuming the artist is Livingston Tayor, who does everything possible to sound like his brother, James Taylor, but can never pull it off??
(thanks for the help!!) Finally took a few pics of my humble little room! All dig now.. the weird stack on the left is a bluray player, cable tv, roku, network box, hdmi switch and fanless PC. PC connected to a silent harddrive with my 2TB of files. Goes into the Peachtree Nova 150's dac. Loving the sound thru the new LS50's and REL T5i. Don't disparage the glass coffee table .. the glass lets me see that I'm not getting reflections from the speakers.
Thanks, it does sound pretty nice, the ribbon tweeters in the Monitor Audio speakers really help to bring out the Conrad Johnson magic, great match, they are really nice sounding speakers, though a 6.5" woofer can only go so low, a subwoofer is needed for the bottom octave in many cases. But not any electrolytic capacitors in this mode pictured above except for the tube heater power supplies and the remote volume control relay circuit, that really helps to make a more relaxing sound without all those resonance cues. That bunch of expensive teflon film capacitors and Vishay resistors in the preamp bumps up the price a bit, but I wanted the upscale version. And the Benz Micro Wood cartridge, all begins there, beautiful image, fun to relax into.
Is that the quilting channel? Sweet! My cable provider doesn't offer that. Must be an oled tv, looks real. (Nice system btw)
Thanks. A quilt by my recently departed dear Mommer (Mommer: one who moms well). Mostly hides the TV so I watch it 13% less, and to take care of those pesky reflections I'm not sure I hear.
I notice that a lot of hifi systems are set up on mantles. I find it curious that they don't want to be able to use their fireplaces.
NO... not at all!! It was funny. Mom was ready to leave this plane. Always thought it funny that, despite her dislike of my occasional "party" habits, she made me a psychedelic quilt.
Well, at least in my case, if one doesn't want to use the fireplace, it's a perfect way to hide it. Bonus: a big pit behind to hide all the cabling!
I like this simple solution for when your Hi-FI and video are together. Simply covering the monitor when not watching. Soften that hard surface and display a bit of art at the same time. Nice!
If it’s Mazzy approved I know I got it right! It was a thrift store find so it was priced right. Matches the oiled oak very nicely.
