The Fall: Blood Outta Stone (A side = White Lightning) _ Tones on Tail: Twist (a lot of people's favourite Tones on Tail song, including mine, and even its creator Daniel Ash, yet it was a B. Ha! A side = Stand & Deliver) _ John Cale: Rosegarden Funeral of Sores (very, very dark, and very influential. Often forgotten in the shadow of the slightly earlier Iggy The Idiot and Bowie "Heroes" albums as an important part of what immediately preceded and partially led to the soon to be thriving UK "post punk" / goth "movement". Bauhaus covered it not long after Cale's original was obscurely released on a 45 that bombed. A side = Mercenaries).

I've seen quite a few mentions of Erotic City and She's Always in My Hair by Prince, but not too many people have said 17 Days. The Purple Rain sessions, hell 80s Prince in general, were just full of great music.
Motorhead's Just Cos You Got The Power is my favourite track of theirs, from memory I think it was the b side of Eat the Rich
I Wanna Be Me by The Sex Pistols Aneurysm by Nirvana Pink Cadillac by Bruce Springsteen Sex Boy by The Germs Erotic City by Prince Police Truck by The Dead Kennedys Hey Hey What Can I Do by Led Zeppelin Casa Vega by Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Vegetable Man by The Jesus And Mary Chain That's It by The Cars
I've been listening to a lot of Petty recently. (RIP, Tom.) The other one that immediately came to mind was Gator On The Lawn. I don't think Petty and The Heartbreakers ever cut a more fun song!
