I once found multiple copies of "Moonshake" w/ picture sleeve at a local thrift store. Unfortunately, something heavy had apparently been set on them, and most were broken. I kept one good one and may have bought one to sell, I can't remember. Just an odd find.

I went into Harvest Records in West Asheville a couple weeks ago and they had The Charlatans on the back wall. Been looking for that record for years. Way more than I'd intended to spend, but I had to have it. Can now sell my crappy Eva bootleg.

10" LP of Christmas songs by Canadian artists, 1953 to 1966. The only big name on it is Hank Snow, but some Canadian music fans may recognize Barry Allen or Ted Daigle.

They're a local midwest band that just reissued their 1998 favorite on remastered yellow wax. Great power-pop.

The new reissues of The Carpenters Horizon and Now & Then. Both sucked. Bad pressings...sub par mastering. Shameful given their heritage. But the new Gwen Steffani Christmas album I just got is fantastic if you like holiday music. Its a very fun listen, and even her original songs are outstanding. And a great sounding pressing. And the vinyl media shows off the cover very nicely.

Tom Waits- Raindogs. Most I have spent on a single lp at this point. Looked near mint but decent amount of clicks and pops. However the vinyl brings out the dimension of the recording I never heard on the cd release. Might have to continue searching for a perfect copy.
