Does anyone have further details on these reissues from James? Cannot find specific details on these releases...not even mentioned on the official James site the official JAMES website

The Vinyl Store is pleased to be offering it's customers a selection of amazing James Reissues - available to pre-order now!

Click here to visit the store and get Gold Mother, Whiplash, Millionaires, Pleased To Meet You, or Seven on heavyweight double vinyl now.

The Vinyl Store Not sure if this link will work long term.

Seems like Santa will be burning a hole in his wallet this year.

    Interesting, thanks for the info.
Are they a re-issue company? I know nothing about them or their quality

Here is another site with more details. No idea who Commercial Marketing might be but the track listings are discussed...I'll have to look at my original records and CDs to see if there is much of a change. Gold Mother seems to have more tracks, or a different sequence.

Looks like Gold Mother uses the remaster tracks. Lose Control was added later, it's not on my old US compact disc. The single is great, contains the 'Flood Mix' of Out To Get You
Please is using the deluxe edition tracklist as well.
I might grab a couple for collection reasons :)
Hopefully Amazon US will get these, shipping from the UK via The Vinyl Store is ridiculous.

Yeah, shipping is a major issue from UK. Please post if you find a US distributor. I'm only grabbing Gold Mother, Whiplash and maybe Seven....the newer stuff doesn't get much play these days....and I expect the recordings are digital anyway (and I would suppose if these are remastered pressings, they are sourced form digital too).

Will do and most likely sure they are as well. If they suck they'll make great wall art

The Laid reissue from a while back was pretty good, and spread out over 4 sides will give these songs some room to breath. Seven is way cramped and on my LP gets some groove distortion towards the end.

Grabbed 'em all besides Seven. Merry Christmas to my wife! (She's a big fan)

What was estimated shipping total? Did they charge a flat rate or increase per record?

I think it ran me $125 total in USD, in case you want to do the math. I just didn't even second guess it.

I’m in for Whiplash and Millionaires for sure. That is great news. I believe this will be the debut for Millionaires on vinyl. Could be epic.

I just wish there were more details on these pressings! I want to buy them but with some info....I'll even pay the excessive shipping if I knew it was a reputable reissue.

Well, that’s assuming they arrive in the US in a timely fashion, too!

I went ahead and pre-ordered Millionaires and PTMY since I don't have them.

I would love to hear some reviews on how they sound along with Whiplash and Seven

I may chance Millionaires. My old UK 2 disc is pretty bricked, hopefully these aren't just dog logs re-leveled...

"Gold Mother" has just arrived today (ordered form AMZN UK), I'll spin it this weekend. Two others are "on the way"...

Mastered by Barry Grint, pressed at GZ Vinyl. After removing from very tight paper inner sleeves the records were entirely covered with tiny pieces of paper, so you really need to clean them before playing.

However they do sound amazing! Very open, detailed sound, with nice bottom end. Both discs are perfectly flat, centred, with very low surface noise. I can’t wait to hear the rest!

Thanks! However, my wallet is rather displeased...apparently it will suffer a major reduction in funds soon.
