Cool thanks a billion! My Cold Roses on Lost Highway sounds like breakfast cereal. Time to update it would seem! :) I'm also tempted by the new deluxe Heartbreaker set!

Thinking about this for next time it’s on sale.
Does in the mystic have tambourine or no tambourine ? I’m not a big van fan but that’s my favorite song of his, but not with tambourine

Also lots of early Metallica. Plus a few Van Halen titles.

Looks like 40% of second vinyl promo is over.

Alice is still on back order for me, but the copy of Blood Money I received was the new remastered vinyl version. Sounds great!

Same here. I was honestly shocked to see the remastered sticker on the cover. Back cover still had the original date, but the deadwax has 2017 etched into it.

Now I need to find the time to listen to it!

Nobody's revered like the Beatles, however this is the way to hear the early Rolling Stones LP's, most of which were recorded in Mono and sound dynamic and punchy as they should. The later ones with Stereo/Mono mixes are all worth having as well. This is a must have for Stones fans IMO.

That said, there is a HUGE amount of bloat on this set. Read the highest rated review for this set, which goes into that in detail. The earlier albums are filled with fold downs and redundancies. The later albums are unique, but there aren't a lot of them. You're paying a lot for not that much unique material.

Another rare OOP Aphrodite's Child CD comp. for sale, used and cheap from Amazon marketplace. This compilation, Babylon the Great: An Introduction to Aphrodite's Child from 2002 (Mercury records) was a Euro only release but was imported to the US/UK and other areas as well but did not stay in print very long as it was OOP by the end of the last decade. Although there is no new material besides the previously unreleased song "Chakachak", this more than makes up for all the previously released material. "Chakachak" was recorded after the sessions for the 2nd album It's Five O' Clock and more towards the time when they started recording the 666 album. This song is an interesting 16 min. instrumental with neat sounds and a spacey feel to it and more progressive sounding. The other previously released songs are some of their more deeper/experimental cuts from the first two albums as well as a few stray tracks from 666. Below is a link to YouTube for "Chakachak" and below that is the Amazon marketplace seller for this CD ($3.87 + $3.99) shipping plus an image of the CD with the track listing. I have never ordered from this seller but their feedback looks OK and I have read online that they are a reputable. I would buy this CD myself but I got a copy a few years ago cheap but not this cheap:

    VU Loaded $11.93

This one lists the release date as 5/26/15. I know there are a few reissues of Loaded over the last few years. Do they all use the same cut?

Amazon Echo & Music Unlimited (3 months for $.99 per month) are part of their 12 days of deals.

I grabbed both on Black Friday, they fill our 300 sq ft kitchen with ease of use and decent sound. Thinking about adding a 2nd echo for another room.
