Agreed, the Tonight Show performance was fantastic. I wish he hadn't cancelled the Philly show.. I expected it and held off making travel plans. Bummer. They've got to stop giving him back to back dates like that. Great news about the award as well.

Sounded live. More fiery lead guitar the studio version.

Here’s what Liam had to say about the whole thing: “I wanna thank the NME for their Godlike Genius award. It’s about f**king time as far as I’m concerned.”

    I love him.

Probably because Noel already received that award in 2012. :hide:

Or Liam just needs to grow up and learn how to take care of himself and his voice. I can't remember Noel cancelling dates, and he's singing the same amount (if not more) music every night. I get that Liam is still trying to be the quintessential rock n' roll star, but that kind of thing generally isn't too kind to your health or vocal cords, especially once you're past your 20's. It's crazy that Liam's inconsistency and behavior really hurt Oasis in the US, but he's basically doing the same thing 20 years later trying to doom his solo career here.

Liam sure has gravitas for a front man. Noel not really, and is looking way older than '50 these days.

Just got back home from tonight's show at Leeds Arena, he absolutely tore the roof off the place!

The new songs went down really well, but of course it was the Oasis songs that got the biggest cheers and sing a longs, and not a Wonderwall in sight!

Edit: Oh, just found out he came back on and did Wonderwall at the end after I'd left when it looked like there was no more encores! :realmad::realmad:

Yep me. It’s a really nice set if your thinking about. Well worth the money.

From the Youtube clips I've seen, he definitely has held a little bit back for the UK fans, voice sounded superb! Here's hoping it holds up for the rest of the dates

I initially slept on this record but picked it up at the same time as Noel's "Who Built the Moon" and after spinning both records a bunch, back-to-back, I find myself coming back to Liam's release more.

Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame beckons in 2019 for Oasis, but Noel thinks he'll give it a pass as he wrote all the songs (hits ). A tad unfair, didn't The Kinks accept it ?

I find that bonus track rather boring and I wish it wasn't tacked on the end of the album...
