I'm no Wahlberg fan. But he saves that film and IMHO gives it iconic status. DiCaprio, Nicholson, Damon and Sheen were also excellent in the film.

If you have not seen this, leave work now, go home and watch it. Or just do nothing at work, and stream it. Highly recommended.

Jimmy Stewart in Vertigo. He had many really good films, but that one is the best, in my opinion.

I don't have a favorite actor, per say. I do have a most admired performance. Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday in Tombstone cranks my tractor! For years I've wished somebody would devise a western for him where he could reprise his Doc Holiday dee-luxe. I can't get enough of his Doc Holiday but I can't watch Tombstone too often.....

took me years, cuz I'm no Leo fan, but I second his opinion. Wahlberg anchors the piece.

I remember seeing trailers for that film when it was new. I was too young to see it. Even at the age of 10, I knew that Hopkins was no ordinary actor.

Often considered one of the best films of all time. Coincidentally, the Jimmy Stewart character has the same name as my dad.

Saw it many years later. Didn't think much of the film but loved A.H.'s performance.

    Great nomination.

Some days, my Bogie best might be between The Big Sleep and The Maltese Falcon, Sleep with a thin edge.

As long as we're in really vintage films, I'd suggest:

    Fred MacMurray:
