Sounds like an automatic purchase for me. Do you have any links with further news / release dates?

This should be good. Read about that gig in "Shakey".

Doesn't look like there's a release date/link yet. But I just saw this on Thrasher's Wheat along with the following about the image:

I've been an avid reader of Thrashers Wheat for some years now and thought I'd share something I've stumbled upon.

I've been going thru some of the code in the amazing new archives and managed to dig up something I presume is the album cover for the Roxy Live album. I haven't been able to find any covers of the other unreleased albums which might be a hint that Roxy Live is next in line for release.

Anyway, I thought I'd share the cover with you if you would want to post it. I think it's very cool and have no doubt readers of TW would enjoy it.

    Peace out,
    Stan

Here's info swiped from the setlist website, where folks have entered track names for the show.
I wonder if it would be all one show or a sampling from multiple nights? If I recall, this lineup had Crazy Horse with Nils Lofgren plus Ben Keith?

Oh man, this is amazing news. Been dying to hear a show from this period in better sound quality compared to the boots.

Nice. Hopefully this gets an end-of-the-year December release.

I'd love it, but given how much is based solely on speculation at this point, I'm not going to get my hopes up. More likely it gets a targeted for a December 2018 release, but pulled in mid-November since he wants to promote his new album about model trains recorded in a closet on his iPhone.

Was it Briggs who filmed the opening night and subsequently lost the footage?

I usually don't get excited about Neil Young releases anymore, but this one, yeah, I want it.

  19. At the latest I am guessing it will be out about the time Archives moves to a pay site.
Also note that it is a Performance Series release which makes the delineation with live albums in the Special Release Series even more confusing.

Unbelievable. WOW. I have a boot of a gig in Manchester during this time period, but, I never thought I'd see the Roxy gig in the Archives series. Hopefully, it's a complete show, but all the same, I can't believe it! Awesome...

On a side note, I'd love it if David Briggs' version of Tonight's the Night be heard, but I'm not sure as to the condition of the master, much less Neil wanting to do something like this, since he did his own version of the record in the first place. But, it'd be cool to do a deluxe version of that album with the two versions existing.

As much as I want this to come out, I am a bit skeptical. The image says Performance Series Disc 2 which doesn't make sense since Fillmore East is already PS #2.
    I hope I am wrong!

Disc 2 could mean that it's a two-disc set and that this is the cover to disc 2, no?

Were these the shows at which most of the TTN material was first recorded? If so, could this be the original Briggs version of TTN?

There is only one live track on the original album, and that was from the Fillmore East.
