Perhaps, time permitting, I can do a run down of my NY CD's regarding what I'm hearing if there's any interest. I don't have everything in the post list, but a lot.

Neil's albums are so sonically good that I don't really feel the desire to own them in an audiophile form.

Or get one of your old threads resurrected. They are basically info threads shouldn't think they would date. Of course with a update.

If AF is releasing something (on SACD) they wil use his 24bit/88.2-192kHz files.
I will stay on these files.

My RE1 LP is packed away right now but... I did a 16/44 needle drop almost 10 years ago which minimally needs some de-clicking.
No, it's not goosebumps but it ain't trash either. An audiophile version would be nice.

I don't have serious gear but a lot of it has been updated over the past 10 years. I should at least re-do my needle drop 24/96.

This album puts a smile on my face. I can remember being 18 in 73', driving a black 63' VW Beetle playing this album on an 8-track. Good times.

If you cannot find an original, then certainly the Chris Bellman-remastered LP is the cat's meow.

Think the big seller reissue /remastered wise would be Harvest. Wonder if Steve has a particular favorite?

I've never had a U.S. early pressing that didn't sound great (except for the occasional scratched and beat-upcopy).

Right...same here. But I have owned relatively clean copies. So...the 2009 remaster is a great way to go!

Friday Music has a greater chance of releasing most of them. The Reagoso touch!

Right...our host said it wasn't possible, so I was just recommending a pressing that sounds awesome.

The old non-remastered and 2009 remasters of those sound just fine, as does the old vinyl. I don't see an opportunity for improvement...they sound good as is.
