They aren't available anywhere to my knowledge, regardless of country. I've only seen UTD, V34 and SI.

I can't find anywhere to buy it or else I'm not sure how to identify it.

If any of you become bored enough, do please list all of the physical CDs which have been released so far under the thread topic (remaster campaign).

Hoping we get a remixed/reissued In Absentia with the Futile tracks added. I assume there are some Deadwing era tracks that could be added to that as well.

The new mastering of "Blackfield II" sounds great. The music has so much more air to breathe than on the original CD.

Oh, not sure if anyone else has clocked this, but Steven Wilson's site now lists a "2017 Version" of Voyage 34 on CD. It's apparently more dynamic and restores the full length "Phase IV," but I don't know if all of the previous CD versions truncated that track.

    Per Wiki:

The original vinyl release of phases 3 and 4 featured the full length version of phase IV, which ran only slightly longer than phase III. When the tracks were compiled for CD in 2000, this was cut to 13:42; there is about five minutes of silence after this, followed by a 2-minute hidden track, taking its duration to 20:45.

A recent CD reissue reinstates the original Phase IV with a length of 19.47.

Huh... I guess I never expected the CD version to be the one edited for time.

Yeah, it's quite strange. I assume he edited it down because he felt it worked better that way. Who knows why... I find it has the same effect at either length.

I do wish the remaster had the hidden track, but then I guess it's just some splashes of one of the synth layers in Phase I (or II?), so it's not exactly essential listening.

Agreed that the remaster of Blackfield II is much better than the original.

In Absentia/Deadwing vinyl releases announced today for Feb/March 2018 :)

Two of the most popular Porcupine Tree releases, In Absentia and Deadwing, have been acquired by Kscope and will be given long awaited reissues on vinyl in February and March. For the first time since their original release, both albums have also been remastered with considerably less compression / limiting, and consequently the albums are now a more dynamic listening experience.

    http://found.ee/PTshop

Both albums are available to pre-order now from Burning Shed. Steven Wilson's Headphone Dust store will also stock them nearer the release dates. In addition to regular black vinyl, special limited coloured vinyl editions will be exclusive to both mail order outlets. Deadwing is released on 23rd February 2018, and In Absentia on 9th March 2018.

Going to be great to get these on CD. I personally never had an issue with IA but I can't wait to hear a good master of DW.

Just ordered Deadwing clear vinyl. I already have In Absentia on vinyl, and the sound is great. Hoping Deadwing gets released on DVD or blu-ray as well.

I already have the DVD-V that came with the original release as well as the standalone DVD-A but it would be nice to compare new to old.

Fingers crossed for a CD/Blu-Ray pack release for each. I'd be on that like white on rice (or heart attacks in laybys).

Really wonder how this clear & white vinyl will sound. Think I am only interested in Absentia.

  25. Yay!!! I can't wait for these. I'd love to grab the clear and white LPs, but my money this month is earmarked for gifts for other people. I'll probably wait until next year to purchase them.
