I know this might be a weird thread, but... I know there are tons of of Xmas albums out there that get broken out at the end of every year, but do you have songs that are not necessarily Xmas- or holiday-themed that you listen to at this time of year?

I'll start. Every since I found a copy of this LP in the garbage on an NYC street (!) around Thanksgiving about 17 or 18 years ago, this track has become my own personal Xmas carol that I blast out every yuletide:

The whole Living in the Past Album by Jethro Tull reminds me of Christmas.
Probably because someone bought me the cassette of that album two days before Christmas 1989

A couple of Beach Boys' songs:

    - "Goin' South"
    - "Time To Get Alone"
    - "Winter Symphony"
    - "California Dreamin'"

That would make a nice EP!

Winter is my least favourite season, so what better time to play Apple Venus Vol. 1 and immerse myself in images of spring?

Our local Christmas/Hanukkah band the Yule Logs does "Holiday Road" although I associate it with summer because I've only seen the first Vacation movie.
They have also changed lyrics to adapt some songs into "I Walked with a Reindeer," "Michael and his Christmas Tree" and "North Pole 45789" for the holidays.

The other day I heard Vince Guaraldi's "Linus and Lucy" referred to as a Christmas song before it was played on the radio. I think it's way too good of a song to only hear during December.

Well, it DOES contain one true Christmas song

EVERY instance of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", by...a "certain section of the population"...who apparently thinks they can get anybody but the gullible to believe it's about "something else", and that's why it's so prevalent in modern culture.
There oughta be a law about co-opting other people's artistic accomplishments in sevice to their own dogma.

I bet Yoko still gets that bad taste in her mouth when she thinks of Nike.
