Nope, The first three of the season were recorded before she passed and before Bing left for an over seas gig. Then he comes back, she relapses goes into a comma. Bing has Judy Garland guest host. His wife dies November 1st 1952. Bing has Jimmy Stewart guest host. Then 9 days after his wife's death Bing records the 11-13 episode with Dinah Shore. Now who knows maybe his wife told him to keep going, or his way of grieving was through his work? It does seem strange though.
Reminds me of Sinatra going on with his show at Caesars Palace knowing that his mother's chartered jet had disappeared over the San Gorgonio Mountains in January 1977. He did a flawless performance...then completely fell apart as soon as he reached backstage.
For the next number of shows you can tell Bing and the whole show really, are a little off. Totally understandable, but noticeable. To me the rest of the run never have the vitality of the shows before Bings wife's death, but a big piece of that are budget cuts due to television.

You are so very welcome. He never did anything quite like this before or after this unique episode. The following year he did something similar, but it had a 10 minute instrumental in it, so it was only a 20 minute Bing concert unlike this year's 30 minutes of pure Bingness
