That's brilliant! I may need to make a mix CD just to see how it would actually sound.

D*mn, I knew I forgot something. Seriously, I didn't notice until you mentioned it. Side 2 should open with 'San Tropez', ugh.

Where filler is involved it needs to be dropped mathematically so as to cause the least disturbance but does the track running order really matter all that much for killer albums? We're used to a certain running order but we could have learned and enjoyed a different one I'm sure.

Should've just posted the original tracklisting. It's awful as-is. I had to completely re-jig it to make it listenable for me. :)

Even killer records would make people go  if they had an improper track order. There are certain "beats" a really great record will hit with the order and style of its tracks, almost like telling a story. For example, imagine this:

    Blood on the Tracks:

    Side 1:
    1. Buckets of Rain
    2. Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts
    3. Meet Me in the Morning
    4. If You See Her, Say Hello
    5. Tangled Up in Blue

    Side 2:
    6. You're a Big Girl Now
    7. You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go
    8. Shelter from the Storm
    9. Simple Twist of Fate
    10. Idiot Wind

It makes me sick just thinking about it.
