    Side B
    Tangerine
    Since I've been Loving You
    Friends
    Immigrant Song
    That's the Way

Now that's when Atlantic would have pulled the plug on the mighty Zep, : "You won't hear from them again"
To make the mess complete, Jimmy changed the colorful spinning wheel sleeve cover (he didn't like it) to a complete white one. And the title switched from III to 'Hey Hey What can I do' ( a track that even didn't make it on the LP)

:wtf:Really? That makes no sense at all...
That is true. The UK Revolver cassette seems like the worst offender to me- on side two, you get four McCartney songs in a row, and then follows with the three most 'out there' tunes. No real sense of 'flow' at all.

Some artists really sweat blood over getting the running order of an LP just so, and it's easy to see why. Messing with it is just wrong.

    Steely Dan, Gaucho:

    Babylon Sisters
    Hey Nineteen

    The Royal Scam
    Caves Of Altamira
    Everything You Did
    Kid Charlemagne

The trick, in both of those cases, is making it past side one:laugh:

"Long Long Long" isn't a bad song. It's just kind of boring. I don't think "Savoy Truffle" is great, per se, but it has a fun vibe. I definitely would've put "Not Guilty" on the actual album in place of "Long Long Long" though.

Probably already mentioned, but I'd put the runout groove of Sgt Pepper 1st on side 1. The rest of that side is no longer relevant, so let's move to side 2.

    Within Without You
    She's Leaving Home
Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite
    When I'm 64
    and the grand finale...

I know what you mean, for me it would be 'bye bye Piggies'. A real Beatles low point for me. I don't think Not Guilty is anything special though.

While I have certainly heard all of THE WHITE ALBUM over 30 times in my life, to this day merely seeing the title "Long Long Long" does not enable me to summon to mind anything about it. It might be the only Beatles song of which that's true, minus some instrumentals.

Billion Dollar Babies: Alice Cooper (1973)

    SIDE ONE
Mary Ann (with the jarring intro abruptly beginning out of nowhere from the end of "Sick Things")
    Sick Things
    Billion Dollar Babies
    I Love The Dead
    Generation Landslide

    SIDE TWO
    Unfinished Sweet
    No More Mr. Nice Guy
    Elected (Single Edit)
    Raped And Freezin
    Hello Hooray (Single Edit)

There, that should be fairly un-cohesive with a couple of shortened versions thrown in to enhance its lackluster presentation. :)

The funny thing, though, is that it's actually hard to make a "great album bad". This thing has no flow but I'd certainly enjoy most the songs regardless.

The songs remain great, but I think I screwed up the flow about as best as I can. :D

For good measure, make the final two songs the edited single mixes, and turn an already short side four into an even shorter (and more peculiar) side four. :)

Not bad, actually. If that were it, we'd all be used to it and it'd seem natural.
