    Monday' mail.
    Happy New Year from IMDb.
Welcome to the 23rd edition of our end of 2017 year Totals.

    Over 4.8 million films listed.
Then a list of their top reviewers.
I only posted one review, so not listed (natch). :)

In another attempt to make their site even less user-friendly, IMDb has in the last day or so eliminated linked episode titles for actors' TV-show appearances, instead just listing their character name (or names, if they made multiple appearances on a particular show).

So, now if you want to know the episode title and season in which an actor appeared (there are certain actors whose TV work I like to get on disc), instead of clicking the episode title in their IMDb filmography and boom, you're done, you have to jot down the character name(s), type it/them and the show name into Google, and then backtrack to IMDb.

This applies to the full site--I don't think the mobile view ever had episodes listed. Not sure--I always opted for the full site.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but to me it looks like that is still available.

As an example, if I look at Carl Reiner's entry for TV, I see 32 episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show of which I can click on the episode titles to take me to the entry for each episode.

You must have a better version (haha). When I clicked on Reiner's actor filmography and scrolled down, underneath the Dick Van Dyke Show entry it only reads:

    Alan Brady/Mr. Soberman/Singer/...

And, again, this is the full-site view.

Hmmm. I hope it's a temporary thing for you. That would be another big hit if it turns out the be the case, permanently.

I wonder if it's browser related? I'm using Chrome.

Actually, I just tried using Chrome in Incognito mode, so that I wouldn't be logged in to IMDB, and I see what you're seeing.

If you have an account, make sure you're logged in and check your site settings. Maybe there's something there that could affect what you see. Although, it would seem silly to purposely not have that ability.

I don't want to test mine in case I somehow 'break' it and lose the feature.

Thanks for the info. I don't have an account there, but I guess if they don't fix the "bug", I'll create one. Assuming that it's a bug and not just a new members-only feature.
