The Rolling Stones "Everything Is Turning To Gold" which was B-side to "Shattered" in the US. Ron Wood's first actual writing credit with the Stones. Bob Dylan "Trouble In Mind" which was B-side to "Gotta Serve Somebody" -the most Dire Straits sounding recording from the Slow Train Coming sessions. Includes this great verse - "Here comes Satan, prince of the power of the air, He's gonna make you a law unto yourself and build a bird's nest in your hair, He's gonna deaden your conscience till you worship the work of your own hands, You'll be serving strangers in a strange and forsaken land".
Bee Gees I Can't See Nobody (A Side New York Mining Disaster 1941) A classic song. Should not have been just a B-Side.
Oh I know lol. Lots of fantastic songs on that album. Just thought it should have been an A-side. Oh well, still a classic track.
The Reasons Why - "Don't Be That Way" from Temple, TX (1966) (B-side of a slow pop ballad entitled "Melinda")
Most of McCartney's singles had B-sides not (initially) available anywhere else. "I Lie Around" flip of Live and Let Die is a good example. Also flip of My Love was "The Mess" another good track. Same with Elton John.
