Kiss bans Iron Maiden t.shirt worn by interviewer.

What a bunch of tossers Kiss are. They must be so insecure about their own band.
You see interviewers wearing band t.shirts all the time when interviewing someone, this is the first time i've ever heard of this happening, how precious of the band. No way i'd of taken the shirt off.

The interviewer should have said, "Wait, you guys aren't Iron Maiden?"

 

KISS - of course. Jagoffs. Have fun playing casinos with two impostors while Maiden continue to rule the globe.

A bit OTT but I do agree about wearing Kiss tees to Kiss concerts. "Why would you wear another band's tee?" First time I saw AC/DC I didn't have a tee of theirs and had no money to get one at the merch stall. EVERYONE had an AC/DC tee. I felt like such a lemon. My buddy loaned me the dollars to buy one. And, relax .....

 

Paul Stanley looks like Stan Smith from American Dad.

 

Gene looks like Roger from American Dad.

How this band made it big is one of the worlds greatest mysteries !

 

I kinda like their 70's material but I'm not the biggest fan. They haven't made any good album since then though. Up until now I really only thought Gene was the wanker but apparently that's not the case.

 

It’s so obvious that Eric and Tommy don’t wanna follow what Paul and Gene are saying to the guy but they have to if they know what’s good for them.
KISS used to have a sense of humor, but sheesh, now it’s Get off my lawn! I’m surprised Gene didn’t make him pay for the shirt.

 

There would be no next time for me. I would expect nothing less from that group unless they made a condition of interviews that Interviewers MUST purchase an approve KISS shirt for $99.99 at the beginning of the interview and wear it throughout the interview with KISS maintaining the rights on when and where the Interviewer could wear the shirt in perpetuity. Now THAT I can see happening ......

 

At least the wannabe Ace stayed out of it, even seemed embarrassed a little.

Honestly, i think Paul and Gene thought they were being comical at first, sadly they're just not that good with jokes and/or humor. One just needs to watch the two of them cringe while Ace is laughing and cracking jokes right and left on the Tom Snider show, or whatever... I dig the music of KISS, but comedians they are not.

 

Ha! I think it’s funny. It looks to me like that they are just joking around. No one is yelling at each other, it doesn’t look like the interviewer is offended. I think people are getting too sensitive these days.

On the other hand I feel that they were trying to be funny. But they come off as utter pillocks, ofc. Because it is KISS. I do like their childish, stupid, third-rate rock quite a lot actually. But as @theshape wrote over here, as humourists (too) their skills are somewhat lacking.
