Sorry about that, didn't check the links after I had posted them. Should have, though... Thanks for the correction.
There are really good deals you can get these days....I always look at Google Flights and Booking.com for our international travel. As for car rental, Budget here has often times really good offers as well.
It's one I need to pick up, is the fabulous artwork from the individual CDs/LPs reproduced? Odd that it is not part of the 3 for 2 offer from Amazon Germany even though they have it in stock and sold directly through them.
The first trip was 25 days and the second trip 29, I believe both trips were somewhere in the 3000-3500 mile range. I can't take any more days of from work than this. Otherwise a 3 month trip of the southwest would be wonderful. Maybe if I'm retired and still have a lot of money.
My favourite of the cities I've seen was San Fransisco, by far. Denver was nice too, but overall I enjoyed the beautiful landscapes much more than the cities. Maybe it's because they're so different from what we're used to here in the Netherlands. I'd love to visit Chicago, they have some really interesting museums there.
Totally! The museums are awesome. So are the restaurants and overall the city and it's skyline ....breathtaking. Very friendly people I encountered. Definitely worth visiting!
I like both Toronto and Montreal and had relatives in Toronto. I have never visited western Canada ...
The love of my life used to live 90 miles outside of Chicago and I have never visited any part of the US as many times as I did Illinois ...
Well, since I had a deep vein thrombosis a few years ago and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2015, long hikes and bag packing aren't really a suitable holiday for me anymore either. Any hike or bike ride that takes longer than 2 to 3 hours is too much for me.
Rotterdam is less than 10 miles from here, should you ever get there I'll show you around. Utrecht, Delft, Leiden and Arnhem are also worth visiting.
So sorry to hear that! Hope you feel better. You can heal your body so much these days with proper nutrition. None of the places I mentioned for Banff are difficult to reach..or involve a strenuous exercise. Thankfully.

Now streaming on Amazon, "Stabat mater dolorosa - Music for Passiontide" performed by the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge directed by Graham Ross on Harmonia Mundi.
Nice picture! The Oude Gracht ("Old canal") hasn't changed that much since that picture was done and the Dom church is still there.
