The Gaslight Anthem just announced its 1st show in 3 years and it's a dream set

Very good news indeed. No word yet on whether there will be additional shows. I can't see a full tour happening since Brian's second solo LP comes out next month.

The Governor's Ball is usually live-streamed and/or broadcast on TV for those of us who can't make it to NJ.

EDIT: They just announced on Facebook that more shows will be announced soon.

Awesome! One of my favorite bands- I’m seeing Fallon in April. Here’s hoping these shows will lead to new material!

No specific dates listed, but Brian Fallon did just post this on Twitter...

    - "Hello everyone! The ‘59 Sound is turning 10 so we’re gonna do some shows to celebrate!
Thank you all for your continued support, more shows to be announced soon!"

...so at least we know there will be more than one show.

Not sure if this post is acceptable or not, and if not, I will remove.... But my kid destroyed my red vinyl copy of the 59 sound. Anyone have an extra they'd part with???

I read this a few nights back and it made me immediately revisit their catalog. Still love the first two albums and The 59 Sound has such a special connection to a time of my life.

The 59 Sounds Sessions that got released this past Friday are very good too. I really dig the take of "Our Father's Sons"...

Doesn't time fly yeh. Its a great driving album, i love putting it on doing stretches down the motorway. I like it's passion and heart, there's plenty of heart here.

Do you own the vinyl or CD? I'm curious how it sounds, especially the LP version. Thanks.
