According to imdb Tennant appears in two episodes this season. . . possibly in flashback I guess. I've a long wait til the discs come out for Season 2!

Just my opinion: Season 1 was the best out of all of the Marvel series. Just my opinion. And I did see season 1 of Daredevil. So I'm really looking forward to season 2. A cranky female anti-superhero? Yes please.

You double dip. IE; watch it real time then get Blu Ray ?

I lean just slightly to DD Season 1 maybe because it came first but we really enjoyed JJ Season 1. I consider it a very close second best. We really enjoyed Punisher but it felt like an 8 episode season stretched out to 13.

Sure. Kinda like listening to a song on the radio and then buying the record.

My least favorite of the 4 but I still love JJ. Looking forward to the new season!

Season 1 was very good, and would have been great if it had been 2/3rds as long. The last few episodes were all filler. Ending on the dock felt like a metaphor - "we've run out of land on which to continue dragging out this particular story".

I hope season 2 will tell two stories across the season - another story about her past (if they must resort to that again), and a story that is not about her past.

I didn't much care for S1. I find Tennant insufferable; there were way too many catch-and-release then repeat scenarios, which I guess goes to the padding aspect of the series; the fight scenes were quite poor compared to say Daredevil; the ending was meh!

I'll still catch S2, just for Krysten Ritter (and Rachael Taylorand).

You liked Iron Fist more than JJ?

I couldn't watch it in instalments real time. Advantages of binge watching you can consume it all in a few + hours, only snag is you got to wait a few months for the Blu Ray.

Yessir. I know it gets a lot of hate on the net, but I thought it was the best of the four.

I think the catch and release/repeat scenarios were a consequence of them trying to stretch what could have been a relatively tight 10 episode story line into 13.

JJ1 was my favourite of the bunch so far (closely followed by DD1). I hope S2 is equally good (not so sure from the trailer).

I also hope that there will be pointless boning, just to annoy Steve. :D

Looks great -- I know the guys at Encore/Hollywood knocked themselves out on the post-production for the show. The color and cinematography is great.

    DD1 > JJ1 > DD2.

I haven't watched any of the other Marvel TV series, so can't compare. Looking forward to JJ2 but guessing that I may have missed out on some plot lines.

Coincidentally wifey is watching Aussie medical drama All Saints right now, and it has Will Trevail in it, who was the cop boyfriend in JJ1.

I'm just re-watching S1 in preparation for S2. It's still my favourite of these Marvel shows, mostly because of Krysten Ritter's performance. DD1 is a very close second.

I really hope S2 meets my high hopes for it. I'm not too sure from watching the trailer.
