Just getting word that the great Tom Rapp has moved onto the next plane of existence.

    Sad, though unsurprising, news.

    Rest easy, my man.

Terrible news, I'm a long time fan of Rapp's work...he was a unique talent. This was the song that really got me into Pearls Before Swine, "Morning Song"...I always considered it a brooding masterpiece!

One of the most underrated and overlooked singer-songwriters of his generation. I connected with his work immediately upon first hearing Pears Before Swine. Sad news.

Was introduced to him some time ago and really enjoyed both his Pearls Before Swine and solo material. It has been a while since I gave them a spin. Time to reacquaint. Thanks for the music Tom RIP.

He had been ill with pelvic cancer - the October 2017 issue of Shindig! magazine (#72) featured a PBS article, with an interview with Tom. So sad. I was going to play These Things Too this evening before I heard the news. I don't think I can now.

    RIP Tom.

Sad news; I had a chat with him at Terrastock in 2006, great guy.

I rank the band's two ESP Disk titles in the top tier of underground psychedelic/folk rock albums. A couple masterpieces, in my estimation.

Sad to hear that the man is now gone.
