Sad. Losing the old Southern rockers at a rapid clip.

Scott Boyer was a deep unique talent; his songs ring true and really take you there.
He brightened many a day for this cowboy.

I've just been reading about Cowboy in the book Rebel Yell. They sound like a great band.

Condolences to Scott's family, friends & fans.

    Dang!

I was playing Gregg Allman’s “Laid Back” during my morning commute. And now I see this. Rest In Peace, Scott.

I hope a few of Cowboy’s LPs can be remastered soon as they are more than worthy.
Not enough folks have heard them.

RIP :shake:. Hopefully the Gregg Allman Tour album will get the deluxe treatment and the songs from Cowboy will be expanded on. The two Cowboy tracks that are on the album are two of my favorite tracks on the entire album.

The Gregg Allman Tour is one of my all time favorite albums. Not only for the inclusion of the Cowboy tracks but also for outstanding versions of Queen of Hearts and Dreams.

That would make a great addition to a deluxe Laid Back

Chuck Leavell is such a huge talent! For years I was hoping he'd get Sea Level back together. But with the passing of Jimmy Nalls and Lamar Williams that sadly will never happen. I saw Sea Level twice in the Boston area and both shows were incredible!
