There are two different versions listed - the half speed mono and the 2015 Polydor stereo - however they used the 1/2 speed picture for both.

It’s very easy to mess up. I ordered both just in case, figuring I could easily return the “wrong” one if I wanted. After reading the reviews of the 2015 stereo, I think I’ll just keep it though.

For all of Amazon’s flaws, Walmart is still miles behind them as an on-line retail presence.

I saw that the 45 rpm AP "Morrison Hotel" is back in stock - a few copies, anyway, if anyone's interested.

Dang, that was fast! I assume that particular listing for "The Soft Parade" is the AP version, since there are no other WEA Doors releases that are listed at 45 rpm.

I just looked at the listing again - it does say "(2 LP set 45 rpm)" under the "about this item" tab.

EDIT: the listing is also out of stock now.

    Huh? o_O

I didn’t know it was some sort of contest. Besides I ordered a bunch of stuff and it’s little issue for me to return anything.

And aren’t you assuming I haven’t/can’t returned it or I’m not keeping it of my own free will?

Seems to me I made sure I got the right album - at no risk and without stumbling into the truth.

Ask the people who ordered the wrong one in who’s shoes they’d rather be...

You actually got the best of both worlds...... the half speed is a mono, the Polydor is a stereo.

Does anyone else find it annoying the fact that Walmart employees insist on opening up the package to check the contents when you go for a pick up? I mean I feel slightly violated by that. Not sure why.

  17. Well, it is due diligence on their part: wrong items, wrong order, damaged goods, etc.,

And protection against fraud, the Walmart by me has been rocked by some clever scams from employees and consumers.

But it does feel like it is package/mail, hence the possible feelings of privacy.

Yeah, but it probably cuts down on return times/issues. If a package doesn't include exactly what a customer wanted, it does simplify returns for the customer service desk, I'm sure - that can be locally addressed in a timely way, instead of people getting irritated when they return home and then need to go back to the store, or involve the online or 1-800 customer service lines.

That’s never happened to me when doing Walmart store pick-up.

    Never...records or otherwise.
