Nice to see this thread again, but this time I'll select only titles that were actually on the OP's link, with brief commentary too:

Airplane! - for the jive translation, Stephen Stucker, Otto, and don't call me Shirley! :D
Grease - luv the music enough to get past those way too old actors as teenagers
Best In Show - a bit obscure these days, but I remember liking this well enough, and would watch it if it comes on TV
Jaws - this made my original list back in post #5 without my ever reading that Buzzfeed article
Sixteen Candles - my favorite of the John Hughes 80's teen flicks over the arguably more celebrated Breakfast Club
    Ratatouille
    - silly, but definitely a fun film for pretty much all ages
Little Shop Of Horrors - one of the few times where a remake outdid the original
Harry Potter - I might actually like these films more than the books, whereas for Lord of the Rings the reverse is true

Wow, only one of my original picks was on that Buzzfeed list, and a few others there were the wrong versions, such as:

Hairspray - this is the film that got me into the world of John Waters, which oddly I've never left :nyah:
Mad Max 2 ("The Road Warrior") - I haven't actually seen Fury Road, but this '81 flick ranks high on re-watchability for me

Some others not on Buzzfeed that I forgot to mention the first time (I'll probably think of more later):

Any Hitchcock flick - always fun to look for his cameo appearances
Any Orson Welles flick - either with him directing or acting in it (or both!)
Any Marx Brothers flick - well almost any of 'em, particularly the early ones with Zeppo
Any Thin Man movie - Powell and Loy cannot be beat, to which I would also add The Libeled Lady
Any Astaire/Rogers flick - I have both DVD box sets, but still watch these whenever they come on TCM
Any James Bond flick with Sean Connery or Roger Moore, except for Never Say Never Again and A View To A Kill
Disney - the first five animated feature films plus Sleeping Beauty, the rest not so much
Casablanca - I agree with another post that most everything Bogart is great, as is the better "film noir" from this era
The Ten Commandments - cheesy spectacle courtesy of Cecil B. Demille (most of those religious epics are fairly re-watchable)
Monty Python's Life Of Brian - best to watch during Easter, but good really anytime (I like their Holy Grail too!)
Time Bandits - with Terry Gilliam directing, this was basically another great Python flick
The Producers - I listed Blazing Saddles previously, but this '68 Mel Brooks flick is great too, as is his Young Frankenstein
    The Blues Brothers
    - this, along with Caddyshack, is probably my favorite featuring the not-ready-for-prime-time-players
Smokey and the Bandit - I could be wrong, but it seems like everyone involved had a blast making this
The Bad News Bears - nearly every bio I've seen on Walter Matthau gives this short shrift, but I think it's a classic
This Is Spinal Tap - one of the most quotable films ever from Rob Reiner (or Marty Di Bergi )
Conan the Barbarian - possibly my favorite of the sword and sorcery movies from the 80's (Excalibur was good too!)
The Terminator - another film where Arnold was perfectly cast...here, as a machine! :p
Christine - one of my preferred Stephen King adaptations, though The Shining is also quite good (but that's more Kubrick)
Dr. Strangelove - speaking of Kubrick, this is more re-watchable to me on TV than 2001, which I think demands a big screen
Repo Man - not quite "alt-cinema" perhaps, but getting there, and I do find it endlessly entertaining
Ready To Wear - sort of like Best In Show as a relatively light but enjoyable, and of course re-watchable, romp
Halloween - even though you know the ending, the suspense is still riveting, and effectively creepy especially with that score
The Quiet Man - it's become a tradition to watch this on or around St. Patrick's Day, which is getting close as of this post
Groundhog Day - likewise, Feb. 2nd needs this (I believe Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 weeks to spring this year, so ~2 left!)
Up In Smoke - self-explanatory ("I think we're parked, man!")

Did you have to watch `Snatch` many times to understand the Brit slang?
Oh, yes `Amelie` a film I have watched more times than I can remember....and will watch many times more....just beautiful.

I am sure there are a few things I still don’t get from Snatch. Amelie hardly even needs the subtitles it is beautiful.

If I know the plot then not much point re-watching unless it’s just so well made with top notch performances....

    Papillion
    Godfather
    Dial M For Murder

    ... or visually stunning...
    2001
    Gravity (in 3D)

... or visually and musically ..
    Yellow Submarine
    Koyanisqaatsi
    Pink Floyd Pompeii

    ... or just musically....
Let It Be (know it by heart start to finish... but can’t stop watching... strange).
