    At least on the chorus:

I memorized them so I'd know what she was singing!

I sing for an R.E.M. tribute band called Dead Letter Office, and we usually close out our shows with It’s The End Of The World As We Know It, and I struggle to get the words out! It’s crazy!

And then there's this...which was actually a hit song in 1976. There's a long version but this is more than enough.

Probably not the very fastest sung but barely takes a break for the full length of the song -

A lot of Arctic Monkeys songs, including "R U Mine" and almost all of their first album.

First one that came to mind is Barry Manilow's "Cloudburst", from his first album, just try to keep up with this one,

Another one from Barry Manilow, Avenue C, based on a Count Basie song but with lyrics for all the big band instruments,

There's another Brel song which goes at a fierce pace too by the end..it's in Dutch but I can't remember the name (Not 'Valse..' BTW).

Sounds like a lot of Brel songs, could it be "Sons Of"? It is another slow start and then faster and faster,

Definitely. Never heard French sung so fast. Scary looking guy with his huge teeth, kind of fits the songs though.

Do you perform any songs from Dead Letter Office?
