Wonder if it'll include some of those early studio run-throughs that circulate, or work-in-progress goodies no one's heard?

Wonder if the flying pig would be photoshopped in there or it was photographed in action.

As much as I like James Guthrie's work I'd prefer it if the Animals 5.1 mix was done by Andy Jackson. Of course that most likely will not happen. Of all the Pink Floyd, David Gilmour and Roger Waters multichannel mixes the Division Bell is the best sounding 5.1 mix IMO.

Can't believe the interviewer let that one slide by. Sure hope it's a box set with a full live show. Surely, the band must know how much the fans crave a live release from that era.

Great idea. Glad I thought of it. (Who said that? Fred Flintsone?)

I agree. I much prefer Andy's multi-channel work by far. That's not to imply that Guthrie's work is bad, it's just a preference.

I remember they let fly that pig there over the power station back in 2011 as the start of the remaster campaign Why Pink Floyd?, so maybe they gonna do this again.

Would love to be on the south train to Gatwick (left side of the aisle) when that happens!

The interviewer maybe isn't much fan of the Animals album. He mainly asked Roger about stuff from Wish You Were Here.

A remix could be good. It could also be f'cked up. I'm very happy with the Grundman vinyl and the '97 Guthrie CD. Hopefully the mastering sounds better than The Early Years did :(

I'm in! Been waiting for this. I hope there's a new stereo mix as well, because that's what I listen to. If not, I'll make my own from the 5.1.

I'm down for a nice, comprehensive box set with live music, surround mix and demos/alternate takes. Not exactly 100% proud when I say "I'd pay anything" for such a box. :goodie:

I'm always amazed at the real world work that went into the cover, mainly because it doesn't look quite real to me (despite the fact that it is). Today, obviously they'd just photo-shop.

Has the most important question been asked yet...will there be marbles?

Now The Wall immersion box set didn't come with a 5.1 mix either, right? Maybe that will be next?

I wish they would release all of them on blu-ray in 5.1 since more people have blu-ray players than SACD. Rerelease the surround BDs of DSOTM and WYWH since many have problems with their copies from the immersion sets. They should do them like the Yes Steven Wilson releases. There shouldn't be scarves and marbles and they should retail for $30 the BD/CD combo pack.

I don't have any of his Yes sets, but I've had an issue with virtually every Wilson Tull release I've purchased.

It isn't! The pig was superimposed on images of Battersea without the pig (because they liked the light when the power station was photographed).

There are two different covers, BTW!

Right I forgot that! Which makes me doubly amazed that they went to all the trouble. I guess the pig came in handy as a concert prop tho!
