Good point on most of those being around in stellar quality already. I think it’s 1981 and 1983 where some SBD parts / sets are missing.

Yeah, I recall DL mentioned that a while back. But that was many years ago and things can change / evolve.

Either way, more fun 80’s shows would be welcome! Especially ones that don’t circulate as pristine SBD’s already. Kind of amazing we’ve only had two DVP post 1978 shows at this point. (Yes I agree the late 60’s - 70’s were their best era, but I also find value in all eras of their career)

I’m (still) hoping for the Baked Alaska set of 6/19/80 through 6/21/80 at some point. It would make an excellent 8-9 disc set.

Interesting. They can't give away cover songs on the bonus discs. Good grief...

Which Dave’s comes with the bonus disc? Shouldn’t it be this one?

Yep. It will be this one, supposedly the rest of the Ann Arbor show from disc 3 of the set proper.

    I guess that’s why we didn’t get the 2nd Run Rudolph Run from 12/6/71 on Dave’s 22.

Hahaha, if it's the one I'm thinking of, I saw that yesterday. Interesting words being used to describe that one. Or interesting interpretations of words, I suppose.

With the split up, we're looking at bonus disc of:

    Jack Straw
    Tennessee Jed
    Black Peter
    Playing In The Band
    Casey Jones
    Set 1 (About 30 mins)

    Ramble On Rose
    Mexicali Blues
    Cryptical > Drums > TOO >Cryptical >Wharf Rat
    Sugar Magnolia
    Set 2 (About 48 mins)

    Wonder which tune got cut?

Maybe it’ll be a 73 fest for the 45th (gulp!) Anniversary: Summer 73 tour coming this Summer and Fall 73 tour this Fall. A man can dream right?! :^)
