This will be fun. For anyone in Spain, that is.

I think I read on another Facebook post that they will be doing the standard setlist from that tour, so guessing it will look something like this.

Need to open negotiations on the home front to get there.

    Let It Rock
    All Down the Line
    Honky Tonk Women
    Star Star
    When the Whip Comes Down
    Beast of Burden
    Miss You
Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)
    Shattered
    Respectable
    Far Away Eyes
    Love in Vain
    Tumbling Dice
    Happy
    Sweet Little Sixteen
    Brown Sugar
    Jumpin' Jack Flash

Once saw Charlie Sexton join Alejandro Escovedo onstage in Austin for a joyous Beast of Burden, but this tour is something else! Glad they're keeping the classic rnr spirit alive.

Really keen to see Chuck and Charlie battling it out on stage. It will be as rock'n'roll as it gets. I am usually not a fan of tribute acts, but I have to say, this sounds much more exciting to me than seeing the Stones. But then I'm a CP fan.

Guess Chuck and Charlie will trade off vocals here and there with all these RS songs to sing....? Guessing Chuck would handle the majority of vocals but who knows. I'm trying to recall if I've ever heard CP cover a Stones song, seems like I've heard him cover just about everyone else worthwhile over the years.

I liked the Stones '78 set list, and saw it opening night of the tour June 10th 1978. The album would be a real rocker workout for the right set of guitarists.

Opening night in Lakeland got "Street Fighting Man" and then Memphis got "Hound Dog" on that US Stones tour. In case they need encores on some of those nights!!!!

Unfortunately it’s not coming to the UK. Chucks european manager is working with badlands.co.uk to work out some package deal for hotel and ticket for anyone wanting to make the trip from the UK. I will post here as and when I know more.

Nothing comes to mind. There is footage of Chuck guesting w Charlie a couple of years ago doing When the Whip Cones Down. Show in the other foot, I can imagine Mick singing this!

And I came across this hilarious, ramshackle performance, Chuck and Charlie doing Petty's American Girl

Heads up: Latest monthly e-mail from Chuck Prophet included the line: "Chuck And Charlie Sexton (The East River Truckers): RESCHEDULED DATES COMING SOON: Spain".

The Chuck Prophet website has now been updated to match this. I have e-mailed his European management via the address on his website but haven't had anything back.

We have tickets for Barcelona but luckily haven't booked travel yet as we were waiting for various other things around that weekend to solidify.

    Anyone else know any more?

Not great news, I have gig tickets, travel and hotel booked me & a pal for Barca. Looks like we'll have to entertain ourselves...

I can say it’s not Chucks fault! And really not Charlie’s either. New dates will be forthcoming, likely to be rescheduled for early in 2019. If there is a delay in comms from CPs European management there are good reasons for that too and I am sure normal service will be resumed soon. If I get any news I am allowed to share then I will.

Dylan will be on tour right up to November 20, so maybe there isn't time to rehearse properly. Charlie is a busy boy, he may have some movie promotion to do too!

Yes, is unfortunate but I've no doubt there's good reason (we all know that Chuck is one of the hardest working guys in the business). I just hope that I'll be free to attend one of the dates when they are rescheduled.

I think Dylan being Dylan may have had something to do with it...

Not, just the December dates in Spain with Charlie Sexton, European Acoustic and US Tour are unaffected.
