I assume that those that ordered at the sale price still have that price but those who already had ordered didn’t get the guarantee preorder lowest price. Hoping they will honor it still.

    Mine still does too.

So if I'm understanding correctly, those who ordered when the low price was in effect still have the low price showing on their orders, but (at least some) folks who had preordered before the price drop saw their order price drop temporarily, before returning to the price they'd placed the order at?

If so, that sucks. If Amazon does not honor the pre-order price guarantee on the grounds that it was an error, I wouldn't be surprised if they also cancel the orders by people who ordered while the low price was in effect.

Think you are correct, I preordered earlier and my price went back up after the sale was over. I have contacted them on preoder price guarantee but no response yet. Hope you all get yours at the lower price- helluva deal!

This a link to the Amazon.com reviews...just like any other "mega classical" boxset, a cheap way to get many great performances in one shot. As you can see from the pic displaying the contents, some works (eg Purcell's "Fairy Queen") are just highlights and not complete. And here we have the reviews on Amazon UK. Imho, even if only a few CDs were truly great, for €25 one can't really complain. In this case, probably they're all worthy.

By the way, this is a full list of what's on the box (pasted from one of the aforementioned Amazon reviews)

This one is very tempting! As someone who has the 3 cd deluxe set as well as SACD and DVD-a versions of the album and also Steve Hoffman mastered 45rpm and 33rpm vinyl. I just don't know if I will. There looks to be one extra disc of outtakes and one DVD that would be new for me, any thoughts on those? Is there a nice book or anything else? Who did the mastering on the LP?

There’s a 3-for-EUR25 offer going on that includes a few 2CD sets (Beatles Past Masters, BBC Vols. 1 and 2, Pepper Anniversary; Pulp Peel Sessions) at least one 3CD set (Rolling Stones Singles Collection) and a bunch of 5CD Original Albums sets (Roxy Music, Simple Minds, UB40).

This is not totally on-topic, but, speaking of dot de, Thomann is a reasonably-priced supplier of musical instruments. They are cheaper than any U.K. store that I know of, and, more to the point, what you need is actually in stock, which is seldom the case with U.K. stores. I got a truckload of Latin Percussion items from them - you name it.
