So you think a new remix (2 CDs) and then 4 CDs of outtakes? That would be generous with regard to unreleased material.

I think the demos will be on there too. Then outtakes and the Stereo remix.

Yes, I was assuming that one of those CDs will be the Esher demos. I believe that all of the demos should fit on 1 CD (unless they found 20 more of them!)

There is the common phrase "keep your hair on", which is another way of saying "calm down". Also, more universal perhaps, "pulling [one's own] hair out", indicating frustration.

Ringo's phrase bears no relation to these and is not a common idiom - I've only ever heard it used literally.

I imagine someone losing their wig when I hear this song.

I hope and pray that Mother Nature is NOT a Beatles fan. Snow in late November is always possible and if she want's to get into the act and celebrate the 50th by blanketing the north east with snow and preventing me from purchasing the new release - I do have a back-up plan, spell out "THE BEATLES" on my snow covered front lawn.

I’m also curious about this. Especially considering how hurt he was about not drumming on the LP version of Love Me Do.

I don't think either will be included on CD. But I think maccawings said the mono will be on the Blu-ray.

So best of both worlds, arguably doesn't take space away from the outtakes, but it's there if you want it on the Super Primo Deluxe Luxury Edition set.

I always suspect Paul is actually wearing a wig.

No. Paul's hair is real (although dyed). But Brian's hair is another story:

Yeah I don't see the original stereo or mono mixes being a part of this.
I think a full album REMIX on Disc 1 and Disc 2.
    Esher DEMOS on Disc 3.
Studio SESSIONS on Disc 4 and Disc 5--that is, one alternate take/mix of each song in tracklist order.
On Disc 6, I see REMIXED "Lady Madonna", "The Inner Light", "Hey Jude" and "Revolution" + 1 outtake of each of those tracks, so that totals 8 tracks.
Plus they'll have a few other leftovers/curiosities to fill out Disc 6 -- "What's the New Mary Jane," the acoustic "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," maybe even "Los Paranoias", an isolated/extended "Can You Take Me Back?" or audio from that jam tape they made in India...
Disc 7 will be the Blu-ray visual content ("Hey Jude," "Revolution" and "Lady Madonna" music videos, studio footage, Apple office footage, Mad Day Out photo gallery, etc.)

If they do put out the Esher songs-I hope it is available stand alone.

In accordance with Murphy’s law, I am going to assume that phones weren’t allowed at the Capitol Congress and/or no one bothered to pull their phone out when the White Album section of Bruce Resnikoff’s presentation was on.

What I always liked about Don't Pass Me By was the outro fiddle, which is different on mono than it is on stereo.

It's a fiddle when they're buying it from you, but it's a violin when they're selling it to you. :agree:

To be honest, the books I have always describe the instrument on "Don't Pass Me By" as a violin.

I realize that. The point is that it obviously meant a lot to Ringo to play drums on the recordings which makes it curious that he didn’t re-record them upon his return.

Looking at Sgt Peppers I expect that the songs will be in recordings order on disc 4 and 5, and if relevant 2-3 versions might be used while some songs simply don 't have an alternate. And that full 150 minutes.
