According to Lindsey's bass player in Lindsey Buckingham facebook groups, all tour dates will be coming soon. I'm assuming first round of tour dates will be Oct-Nov time frame.

it is unclear whether LB will have a new album out to coincide with the tour, but some indications are it is plausible.

Hey there, just saw this, pretty cool news in my opinion. This album comes out October 5th on Rhino Records.

From a quick scan I don't think there are any new songs on the set. However, it does seem that "Holiday Road", "Dancin' Across The USA" and "Time Bomb Town" are finally getting a release on a Lindsey Buckingham album, along with "Ride This Road" and "Hunger" which I'm pretty sure are new, previously unreleased songs. There also seems to be a live disc which sounds pretty awesome as well.

Looking forward to this and going over the track listing again soon.

Terrible terrible album cover, but wow, very excited for this. Kind of weird there were no other selections from "Law and Order"? That's such a great record.

I just realized that all of the live tracks are from previous live albums, so for fans of live material that might be a bummer. For me it's not a killer, but still...

Also, the lack of Law and Order outside of "Trouble" is absolutely puzzling. I know he doesn't play anything from the album except for "Trouble" live (except for a rare one-off of "Bwana" years ago), but that's also true of Go Insane where he only plays the title track live from that album. Yet he chose quite a few tracks from the Go Insane album for this set.

I personally can't see how we didn't at least get "I'll Tell You Now" or "It Was I" on this set, but it is what it is.

I only saw one song from the LAW AND ORDER lp. I'm excited to finally get HOLIDAY ROAD and DANCING ACROSS THE USA on cd. Now I can retire my VACATION soundtrack lp.

I see that he is coming to my area on tour as well. I'd like to see him. Any comments on his recent (last few years) live shows?

Considering the track list as a whole I could see that he might feel the jittery, Tusk-like Law and Order songs don’t really fit with the rest of the material ... though one could say the same of Go Insane’s synthpop.

When was his last solo tour?

I saw him solo 7 years ago and he was fantastic.

I saw him last year with Christine McVie and thought he blew her off the stage. Fabulous.

Also, unsurprisingly, nothing from the Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie album, which makes sense as it's not "solo Buckingham" and is instead, officially a "duo" record. However, it is interesting that we got the original solo "Sleeping Around The Corner" which is a bit of a rarity as I'm pretty sure it's only available as a digital Amazon bonus track to Seeds We Sow.

And now with time to let the track listing sink it, I do think we had a bit of a missed opportunity as far as getting stuff like "On The Wrong Side" from Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack With Honors or maybe his three tracks (or at least the two solo ones) from This Is 40 - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Alas they didn't.

Even the live disc coulda been made more interesting by using live b-sides like "Street of Dreams" and "This Was Nearly Mine" from the "Soul Drifter" single back in '92 instead of just reusing live album tracks. At least people would get something like they likely hadn't gotten before.
