Well the title's up Juggernaut something like that same author as Die Another Day etc..Dan's doing one more.

  3. I'm not sure they can. Casino Royale was a fresh entry in the franchise, but it was based on Fleming source material. Once they got back to original movies, the next three Daniel Craig entries were significantly weaker. If they don't spend the time and money to get great writing and original ideas, they will not succeed.

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing? A remake of On Her Majesty's Secret Service but with a stronger Bond actor. Craig could really do justice to that storyline.

He's only doing the next one because Tom Hardy was lined up to do the next 3 with Dunkirk director on board for three Bond movies as well.

Apparently Craig ( source Daily News/Mail) doesn't like Hardy, when he heard he was getting the part Craig got involved again.Hardy is not popular with other actors it's seems ( on set) Paul Bettany had a fall out with him..
Think he likes to muck about have fun.
Also that blonde French actress may get involved with the new film. Oh the horror.:)

Wow, I never heard for a fact Hardy was getting the part. Interesting. OTOH, I highly doubt it mayyered to DG but it makes great reading material.

New Bond storyline taken from a 2009 novel. Christopher Nolan was lined up to do three films, if Craig pulled out.
Tom Hardy in tow to play James Bond.

  9. If Hardy is signed up for the next film they'd better get it under production quick - by the time the next film would probably be released he'd be in his mid=40s.

And you read this where? I very much doubt Chris Nolan would sign up to do three Bond films in advance... he never signed on for more than one Batman film at a time.

If - and it's a HUGE if - there's any truth to that Tom Hardy rumor at all, it's probably more like EON approaching a still-undecided Daniel Craig and 'letting him know' that they're talking to Tom Hardy for the role (just as a professional courtesy, you understand ;)), a means to force his uncertain hand; they pulled the same trick with Roger Moore (God rest his soul) back in 1980 and 1982 when he was prevaricating over signing on for the next 007 picture by again 'informing' him they were talking to/auditioning other actors in line for the role should he opt out.

I have no idea how, why, and when The Craig finally decided to come back one last time - although I understand he had one more optional film on his contract - but I'm glad he did... they'll never come close to Casino Royale again, I accept that, but if there's a legitimate and valid reason for another Craig installment as 007, it's to wash the sour aftertaste of Spectre away from his tenure... more than enough reason as far as I'm concerned.

I'd be interested if Devil May Care is made into a film.

Interesting news, but I just don't buy it. Hardy seems to be into taking on challenging roles as an actor (except for "Dunkirk.) I don't see playing Bond adding anything to his career (except cash, which would be quite alright by me!)

Please keep Nolan away from Bond. I don't want 45 minute scenes of exposition where Q explains how the exploding pen works or Hans Zimmer's "music" that sounds like he fell asleep face first on his keyboard for two hours and someone recorded it.

Now that Russia is hacking elections, Bond is more relevant than ever!

The US and Russia/USSR have been hacking elections since the end of WWII. The US has actually interfered with more (81 between 1946 and 2000, according to research done at Carnegie Mellon).
