No filler on Sandinista in my opinion. And it's my favorite Clash album.

  3. Station17

    Station17 Time to play B-sides...

I do listen to almost all of the tracks on Sandinista!...but I can’t listen to the backwards track, so I feel OK describing it as “filler”.

Yes, the extra tracks on the cd totally mess up the flow,

Just the other day I was listening to Tommy and feeling somewhat annoyed at some of what I would have considered 'filler' at first, when I wondered what a single-disc version would sound like. I quickly understood it needs to be two-discs; there is no way else to do Tommy.

Bob's presence is minimal but still a great session.

I enjoy Sandinista, but I am the first to admit it contains lots of filler.

Must have been quite some thing to have bought it new back in the day, take it home to unwrap and then be presented with this gorgeous package containing 2 albums and 30 new songs.

In other words, these albums contain no filler, provided you ignore this track, and that track, and this other.

    That is, they contain filler.

The Wall? I'd say there's 3 1/2 sides too much, but that's me.

Glad that Crosby/Nash is a double. Not keen on long single albums.

  23. Also,
If you like all songs = no filler.
    If you don't = filler.

I really do love this record. It gets overlooked...but it is a real high point for this band.
