I just saw this one in Orson Welles "The Trial." Anyone know what that amp is?

Jason Statham's stereo in The Mechanic was pretty sweet.

HBO series Sharp Objects with Amy Adams. Awesome and creepy series with great music. The ~$112,0000 sound system already has its own thread.

  7. The system in Jack's place in As Good as it Gets looks like it's pretty good. McIntosh Electronics, but I've never quite decided on the Speakers.

Oh, it was filmed in Croatia, so that might explain unfamiliar gear. I thought it might have been a giant Leak or something.

Wow, some film director loves vinyl, really lavished some time on that table!

In "How To Murder Your Wife", a hilarious movie from 1965, I noticed the components in Lemmon's apartment (behind Terry Thomas here). Only in the scene a few times, they look like a Scott tuner and amplifier, but could also be Fisher. I saw no speakers anywhere though.

I'm quite certain Jason Statham's character in that film could have easily killed someone with that turntable platter.

Can't find a good pic, and I have no idea if any of it was based in fact, but Jesse Pinkman's stereo in Breaking Bad was pretty cool.

Absolutely drop-dead beautiful turntables. The Oracles kind of picked up the Transciptors design and kept it alive for awhile.
