    The “
Paul McCartney - Egypt Station appreciation thread” seems to be closed I don’t know why but maybe “ we” could be told.
So can we post here when the chart is out??

Yeah I saw that too and was confused by what happened. I'm still waiting on the Billboard charts so maybe we can do it here

Why was it closed? It's pretty simple, don't discuss politics.

Agreed. Seemed very odd!!! I keep refreshing the Billboard page but nothing yet :(

I wish they had just deleted whatever political post was there rather than close it :( but what's done is done maybe we can keep up album chart positions here and keep talking about our thoughts on the album

    DON'T. MENTION. POLITICIANS.

    Don't mention a politician's kids.

Don't allude to a politician or his/her kids.

    It's pretty easy.

I’m guessing (hoping) (wishing) that they’ve temporarily closed it for cleanup, and it’ll be back soon. But it appears they’ve already deleted stuff without yet reopening the thread sooo

    I’m also refreshing billboard!

Yeah, asked the moderators to delete the overtly political posts and reopen the original thread at that crucial time...

fmfxray373 Capitol LPs in the 70s were pretty good.

The horn riff on the final medley reminds me of another song just can't place it. I guess it is the Hunt You Down part.

I don’t know but why make all the thread users pay for one or two people breaking the rules? Surly they can be contacted individually if they’ve done something wrong ?
The rest of us could enjoy the thread.
An explanation would also be courteous

    peace and love✌Dave

Which page are you refreshing...the actual chart page? Just curious where it will first appear, since I've never had this much of a vested interest.

Usually Billboard announces the new #1 album via a "Chart Beat" article. Last week's "Chart Beat" article regarding the Top 200 chart winner (which was Eminem last week) was put online at about 3 PM (Eastern USA time). But the exact time may vary from week to week. I'm not a regular follower of Billboard, so I have no idea.

The next actual Top 200 chart itself will not be displayed until later this week (maybe Tuesday??).

Get your Barnes and Noble Red Vinyl now...I got the last copy yesterday at my store...they had a grand total of 2 in stock.
Prices surging upward already on the Bay lol.

Really? I’m only asking a question and not having a go at the moderator. Is there a way to find out without Offending anyone or breaking any rules?
    Serious question

Since I couldn't speak in the now closed appreciation thread, I'll give my brief review in this thread:

I loved it. Paul has finally released a great album in his later years that doesn't feel like a grand "so long." It will gladly take a place on my shelf. 8.79/10

I'm also keeping track of the number of pages and posts in this thread. In the old Egypt Station thread, we'd be on say page 900. I'd then go get lunch or something. But when I returned, we'd be on page 880. It was very confusing. This time, though, I'm keeping a running tally... ;)
