I think it's safe to assume this thread is comprehensive and there won't be any new music to add to it. There legacy is safe with an ending like Don't Touch My Ascot. HA!
the straight up KISS version of that song is pretty good. Sadly I can't find it online in FLAC and I refuse a crappy YouTube rip in my collection.
Its on YouTube. It will pretty much be the last song they record as a band since I doubt they will record anything new during the next few years during the tour. Its the same song but with Paul on vocals.
We covered “Don’t Touch My Ascot” and the KISS v. Japanese band thing. We even looked at some demos and Wicked Lester. If they do venture out with a few new songs for another greatest hits album we’ll cover those, too.
Will it be one they have involvment with or a crappy label one which will likely be a recycled version of the Millenium Collection CDs.
I didn't...I said "I think" Personal opinion. Gene has stated a few times that he has a new KISS tune he wants out there (Rock N Roll something or other...) so now would be the time for them to get in a studio and record a few tunes. That way they have something they could sell at shows.

If they were going to record new music, and the end is coming, why not record a new KISS song with Ace on vocals? Clearly Paul and Gene have both got a reasonable relationship with him because they've worked together in the last few years. I don't think it would really be a slight on Tommy as he will remain their guitar player for this final tour. He's a professional and I'm sure he gets it. And come on, there's no way there's going to be a new Tommy or Eric vocal on a greatest hits album at this point.
