My bad - the next column over from Me and My Uncle is Memphis Blues, which was only played the one time in 94. I guess you had some kind of luck: MAMU was only played 13 times out of 84 shows.

If the final reel has been found, and the tape flip is 30 sec or less, this should be a no-brainer. The jam from the night before should be included as filler

That was my guess a few months ago and I think a strong choice.

    Set 2:
    Eyes Of The World
    The Music Never Stopped
It Must Have Been The Roses
    Samson And Delilah
    He's Gone
    Drums
    The Other One
    Comes A Time
    Franklin's Tower
    Sugar Magnolia

Set 2 looks tasty. And with Dave's penchant for end of tour shows, that looks a def possibility for 28.
    No complains here.

Best '76 version of He's Gone :p Could also be the best Comes A Time of '76, best Sugaree, etc. My favorite show attended.

Hoping for a ‘79 Brent show but this would definitely be a tasty option.

I didn't mention 11/14/71, 11/17/71 and probably several others mainly out of laziness or lack of recent familiarity; hence, the e.g. and and not an i.e. Regarding TOO--> Uncle--> TOO, 8/6/71 is by far my favorite, although the last several DaP's have received short shrift in this domicile due to the sheer bulk of stuff I have to listen to and how many hours I have available for said endeavor while meanwhile trying to convince myself that there's better GoGD than what they did in '72.

    Fixed that for ya. :nyah:

On first listen it sounds as if the Charlie Miller transfer on Relisten must be fast, but it ain't. It's just crazy.

That kind of depends on what you call (or how you think of) the post-CAT segment on 7/17/76. That is a fantastic piece of music, but it rather quickly strays from any similarity to the actual song, unlike the outro segment from 10/15.

You all are getting me so excited about the prospect that Dave’s 28 is going to be 10/15/76 and I’ve never heard the show before!!

Plus I LIKE 1976 Dead but I’ve never gone nuts for it like the other years that I truly love.

    So it better happen!!!!

I know they probably gave a time, but since I've had 10-12 in my head for a week or more, I wish they'd just announce it at midnight tonight.

Can you tell me who to contact here?

A windy city June '76 show works for me too. The 26th & 28th both look esp. tasty. The 29th has been in wide circulation forevers.
On paper the 26th (A Set 2 Playin' sand + Crazy Fingers!!) looks the better show (unless you can't get enough "Drum solo"), but that's just on paper.

If I recall right, Charlie Miller said a few years back that TPTB asked him not to circulate the SBD he had of June 28 1976 (the show with the "Happiness Is Drumming" = early "Fire on the Mountain" jam some people mention). Eventually he did release it.

    USA clue 3
Needless to say, most shows were played in the USA.
I used the too generic USA as a clue because using "Mississippi/Ohio/Missouri Rivers" would be too easy. The word "clue" is a clue itself, as the revealing date email itself. It's very good to know geography and to read maps.
Can you read the alpha/numeric answer now?
