My wife and I both love this song , I included it on a cd I sent I sent her during our courtship some 20 years ago . I just played it in my music room and I am sure she can hear it …..whoooo whoooo
Completely wrong but we'll move on. I wanted to do a 90's jukebox-style thread to focus on the more obscure bands and to enhance the point that the decade (much maligned generally) wasn't all about Oasis and Blur. By joining this thread I can save paper and ink. Who else loved The Longpigs?
"The band was founded by the remnants of the group Synthetic Flying Machine" Shows how much I don't know - thanks for that.
We can file this under 'obscura' - formed partially from the remnants of underground artpop collective Minty (led by the late great Leigh Bowery), The Servant named themselves after a tremendously creepy Dirk Bogarde movie and featured the simian-obsessed Dan Black on vocals.
