I've seen reviews on quadraphonicquad that say this surround mix is a mega winner!
Now I REALLY feel like a kid again! can't wait....

I listened to the Martha My Dear track (without horns) and hearing it without hiss and full fidelity was almost shocking.
It sounded like you were listening to him sing it live instead of a tape playback.
    Awesome set, so far.

Giles just been on the radio in the Uk -trying to explain how he is trying to make the album sound modern and more dynamic . The "in the room with the band sound" -wanted to make it sound different ,better and unique with the new mix .His favorite outtake is "Child of Nature"

I didn’t know him personally but I loved Revolver Records. In fact I loved it so much I carried around the card from the shop in my wallet for years and years. To a new kid in NYC that shop was intimidating but incredibly warm and welcoming and friendly for a slightly lost 20 something looking for some new Beatle tracks in NYC.

When the driver's an idiot, yes.

Now they’ve issued replacements for all four missing items. But the earliest the first will get to me will be next Monday. The deluxe won’t arrive until Friday when I’ll be in France once more.

Sorry I know I asked a little while ago. Any one got ant photos of the 3cd set. Just interested if everyone around the world, if your 3cd set says made in Germany? But would love photos.

Please be patient with me, but I have dipped in and out of the 1000+ pages of discussion here and I just want to check one thing: am I right that the only place to get the 12 minute take of Helter Skelter is the full 7 CD box set?

I took a day off from work in a couple weeks just so I can take this all in without the kids, wife or any interruptions. Well off to work I go...

Listening in the car on the way to work.... the bass! I have a single 12” sub in my trunk and this thing is giving it a workout. I love it!

Still decided to get only deluxe versions (same as with Sgt. Pepper remix or forthcoming Wings). The deluxe boxes would be interetsing for me only because of their inner (printed) content - booklets, photos, all available info material etc. But it is still too much money for such a material. :shake:

It's not you. I thought the reverb on John's voice was off the first time I heard it. It doesn't sound right. Digital instead of analogue or a different set up in the echo chamber? The first major blemish for me on an otherwise great sounding remix (so far).

My wonderful Indie Record Store had a free poster that looks exactly like this, with my purchase. Be on the lookout!

You are smarter than I am.

I took today off, but I never know if the mail is
coming at 11:00 am or 5:00 pm. So I *may* get in some uninterrupted listening. Or I may not.
