Pro-Ject VC-S owners, please share your pics. :D

Many of you have slightly different versions since the original launch last year; lots of changes/updates have been made since then, so let's keep track so we can share info and keep past/future owners in the loop.
    Thanks much!

I can post pic of mine another day.....but wasn't the last change the clamp, from 2pc design to 1pc design? Your clamp looks different than mine and what is on the Pro-Ject site.
    Are there other changes recently?

Yes, one piece clamp. Lots of other changes; new low-noise bi-directional motor, new motor bolts, new plastic arm flange, some vacuum arms have chrome ends, others are black, silk-screened designations for the motor, vaccum and max fill line. Others have stickers.

The one I got this summer looks exactly the same. I like it.
I also felt that metal arm helps "grounding" of some static during cleaning.
May be it is a placebo, but I felt much less static on records freshly washed.

I am thinking of grabbing one of these but the only way i can justify it is if the noise level of the vacuum is lower than that of a Record Doctor brand vacuum. How does it compare? Even if it is a touch better that might be enough. My family hates my record cleaning and being that they are always around it is tough to find time to clean them when they are gone. The Record Doctor does a decent to great job of vacuuming the record but the sounds is very loud.

So does it get them AS clean as the Record Doctor and is it quieter?

It is pretty loud, but not terribly loud. You not gonna need earplugs )). I am cleaning in my home office, with door closed, so no one cares )). I do not know how load Record Doctor is.
IMHO it cleans very well and better IMHO then Nitty Gritty I had some time ago.

That would be great, not sure what app to use though? There has to be one....if you get one and let me know which app, I will do the same with Record Doctor and we can do a little comparison here

How many turns you have to do for complete vinyl drying. Really 2+2 turns?
For complete drying my vinyls I had to take 6+6 turns.

Six is a lot......I usually am 3 in each direction. Check your arm height, it may not be contacting the record surface well enough.

I will take a picture. When I put the wand on the vinyl (without suction) it should be in contact with surface already or some space between them?

The Record Doctor came in at 94 db on the sound meter app. Sorry for late response!
