Is it just me, or does it seem weird that so many of the choices here are songs that fade out?

Queen's 'The Prophet Song' on 'A Night At The Opera' before the descending
arpeggio on the Koto transitioning into 'Love Of My Life'
Kansas' 'Angels Have Fallen' on 'Monolith' That last crescendo is an excellent
test for your phono cartridge/tracking adjustments.
Elton John's 'Funeral For A Friend' on 'Goodbye Y.B.R.' is great with or without
    the sport's highlights!
Ozzy Osbourne's 'Diary Of A Madman' on the album by the same title!

Butterfield Blues Band's "East-West". Ends in a cathartic maelstrom after 13 minutes of an amazing guitar workout.

Don't know if this counts or not, but I get chills towards the end of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Boxer", when they're repeating "lie la lie..." and the layers of orchestra and other instruments keep building up. It's quite intense. ;)

I also love the tension that builds up in the crescendo before the final verse of Pink Floyd's "Echoes"... I know you wouldn't normally consider the last verse of a song to be its climax, but when you're listening to a song that's 23 minutes long, just about anything after the 15-minute mark could be considered part of the ending. :D
