Just was curious how many CD's/LP's are on your 'wish list' that are out of print.

Sammi Smith's first album for Mega - originally titled He's Everywhere, later re-released as Help Me Make It Through The Night. It came out on CD on a European grey market label, using a poor sounding vinyl copy as the source. This album needs a proper CD release, made from real tapes.

  5. I'd love to see a b-side collection of all of Peter Gabriel's stuff from singles, EPs, etc.

    Any of the DCC's.

Yeah, I wish it had been in print for more than something like a week!

This time of year I could really go for a CD of Christmas Becomes Electric by The Moog Machine.

  14. A heap of Mosaic sets, e.g. those for Elvin Jones, Woody Shaw, Sam Rivers

    The mofi version of Innervisions.

The Flaming Lips' Soft Bulletin on vinyl. Only 1,000 copies in existence and it sells for way, WAY too much online.

For me, pretty much every good album from the 90s... vinyl from that decade is way too hard to find and way too expensive.

It'd be nice to have Tim Buckley's Starsailor in print and on CD.

Cool. I'm glad that's OOP. Since my wife just quit her job, that may help me pay some bills next year if things get tight. ;)

I've never heard the Cowsills live album. I'd like to see that one back in print.

The first Nitty Gritty Dirt Band [s/t] album. It's partially available on the Pure Dirt CD but the entire album would be nice.

I wish the master tapes to Jake Holmes' Underground Sound and Letter to Catherine December hadn't been lost. Needledrop versions are available through his web cite, and, probably illegally, on Radioactive, but that's not the same.

I assume you want the vinyl. If not, the CD is available as a twofer with their 2nd album "Darkness to Light" on EMI Electrola. CD Universe has it for sale under $10. Pretty good price for an import.
