Great picture! But the guitar on the stand is a Gibson J160E.

Perfect name for it. I had one for a while but the 325 is so dinky it's hard to play (but ALL MY LOVING and PLEASE PLEASE ME are a breeze with the tiny frets). The Rickenbacker 660 has that sound but the neck is full size and it's not much money. Might have to grab one of these..

I agree. Looks better in the older photo IMO, he'd aged well.

Incredible photos, thanks to all. Love the "rare" ones - especially the ones with Pete and Stu.

Hidden. This is why I thought electric guitars were plugged into a wall socket when I was a kid.

The Beatles at EMI/ABBEY ROAD, 1962, in 1966 (with Mick during REVOLVER) and August, 1969 with Mike Vickers. Quite a ride:

I have the 325C58 in Jetglo like this one, though I had the Lennon mods done to it wit the Bigsby, etc. Looks and sounds great. This guitar is slightly different than the "Miami" 325 John played on the second Ed Sullivan appearance (different wood, thicker body, gold instead of white and doesn't have the pickup blender switch)

It is hard to play though...
