    Not really a video converter. It's great for DVDs, sure, but that doesn't appear to be what he wants.
    Far too outdated and simplified.

    I think you guys should seriously check out Freemake, it converts to basically everything, and is completely free. Yes, it's adware, but if you uncheck all the toolbars it works fantastically. Their "Video Downloader" software is very useful too.
