Looks nice, but unfortunately, it's counterfeit. I was living in Japan back in 2009, and no such "promo" was ever issued. As far as I know, 'Test For Echo' is the one Rush album that has never been legitimately released on vinyl.

Wow, I've never seen one of those in my whole life.

Picture LOOKS legit and there was talk about Test For Echo possibly being issued on vinyl at the time but getting scrapped at the last minute.

I'd be very interested in hearing about any other markings on the disc. Is it just the album cover or is there other information on it?

Different Stages was never released on vinyl also. Although there was a vinyl boxset rumored to be released when it first came out but it never happened unfortunately.

it is a legit release from anthem/atlantic.... PD 89739-1...2009 US

the sound probably isn't very good on a picture disc

Maybe with AF getting the rights to do 90's Rush albums on gold CD that eventually they'll license those masters for vinyl as well? I'd be in for all 4 Warner studio albums on LP if it ever happened.
