No, he'd gone by 1962. These are all 1963 tracks.

It's called copywrite extension. Plain and simple. No master plan. Just plain business.

  4. Just wait till they get to 1969 and the Let It Be sessions :D

  11. Looks like the NME piece is accurate. So, we can confirm that the collection of songs will be released, but there is no confirmation of the date or the title.

Nice recap article and it claims an Apple spokesperson was contacted. One glaring error. They say that the Beating the Bootlegs album is missing the "widely bootlegged" outtakes from With The Beatles. IF the list is final, it's missing but ONE track, Don't Bother Me, that's been widely b00ted. Nothing else from the sessions has ever leaked, though some exist in private hands. It also adds one song not previously available, the undubbed Money. Ron

Mitch Axelrod claims he has a "good source" that says it will be on the US iTunes as well.

I wonder if this was to follow the current trend of artists just releasing on iTunes with no real advance word, such as what Beyonce just did or Lorde did today: they just appeared on iTunes.

We can't imagine there's no Arnie! This forum would be less fun and informational without you.

No, but I've wondered the same.

Maybe they've seen discussions here wondering how it was recorded, and why the mono and stereos are different, and are putting us out of our misery? ;)

Unless it's the theme song for the collection? :D
