Just got an email from Beatles.com saying this beauty is in the works. Sgt. Pepper Jukebox Always wanted a jukebox, but I'm guessing this one will be very much cost prohibitive..
Back in 2001 Rock-ola made 100 Beatles Yellow Submarine jukeboxes. Using their same mechanism which Rock-ola had in their Fireball jukes, it held 100 CD's. Four ended up with the 3 remaining former Beatles and Yoko Ono. I believe these are listed in the registry as being owned by Apple Corp. Prices have escalated in the $20.K to $30.K range.
Pretty cool. And when I really think about it, I don't actually need a car and this is much more affordable.
They may not have to be dinked. Many modern jukes can played small or large hole 7" 45's. Of the older jukes, most built in England were set up to play only small hole singles.
